Photography is dead

The Third & The Seventh from Alex Roman on Vimeo.

This is video by a guy named Alex Roman. That entire thing is CG. Computer generated.

It's not real.

The gap is closing in on what we need to document with photography, using real things and people, and the ability to create whatever we want to see using computers and enough compiling time.

  8. It's completely true, and a little scary. It kind of makes me think about law enforcement actually and how criminal organizations may be able to counterfeit evidence that would get them off the hook.

  9. Wow. I wonder how long it will take video games to have better frame rate than real life.

  11. Photography will never be dead, how are you suppose to document the past or future through sight without taking a picture? Also as everyone has different views on what photography is, it is forever changing and therefor will always be around. Nice Video.

  12. this video is absolutely amazing....does this mean cameras will be obsolete in the future? probably in the sense of professional graphic design, but you know for the general user cameras will always be in demand
